I’ve been meaning to write a review for Climb On! Products for some time now, but now is probably the best time since they decided to sponsor Campfire Chic this month and volunteered a giveaway to accompany this post!
I first ‘met’ Climb On! Products through a weekly Twitter Chat called #ClimbChat, where a bunch of rock climbers came together for an hour to talk about a different topic each week…which usually breaks down into talk about how bacon is amazing. Climb On! Products helped spread the news about the chat and turned out to be a fantastic example of the use of social media by a brand. Seriously, they rock.
So I went on the Climb On! Products website to learn more about the brand and instantly knew I would be placing an order. What got me was that I could pronouce all of the ingredients used in their products! I couldn’t say the same about the current bar I was using for my hands after climbing…
Here’s what their website says about their mission..
To teach people that simplicity is the best for your body. To educate people how your body will heal itself when given the proper nutrition inside and outside.
To help people understand the difference between a truly pure or natural product and the marketing terms used to fool you into believing a product is “100% natural,”
To be a leader in the field of educating people on freeing their bodies from synthetic chemicals in their life.
So I purchased the Climb On! Sample Pack and the SPF 30 Mineral Sunscreen Pots to see how I would like the products. I gave some of the duplicates to one of my friends who started doing Cross Fit recently and needed something for the blisters he was getting. He’s hooked.

I’m Hooked.
My hands get really dry from climbing chalk– the bar is excellent for softening up my palms and the creme does an awesome job on keeping my cuticles in check. The sunscreen smells kind of like granola, which is nice, and the lip balm is a new favorite.
This isn’t a brand that is just for rock climbers, it’s for anybody looking to replace items with ingredients you can’t pronounce/don’t really need to be included in something for your skin (like added fragrances and dyes).
If you have a Cross Fit lover, weight lifter, or a traveler in your life, these products will make for great stocking stuffers!

I live using climb on products. Mainly because u have super sensitive skin, I’m a pasty whiteboy :/ so sunblock is a must when I tackle the outdoors. Not to mention my lips really dry out, so lip balm or Chapstick is important. And the fingertip repair is amazing, especially for multi day climbing. The fact that their products are natural, just adds to their value, for me, I don’t like putting chemicals or other unnecessary drugs into my body.
