What is my favorite part of memory-keeping? Looking back on albums, pages, and projects and seeing what has changed…and what’s the same. From the papers I used, the techniques used, and what I decided to document at that time.
One of the biggest selling points I like to point out to people interested in signing up for 30 Days of Lists is that the project is a snapshot of your life right now — It is 30 days of quick journaling that captures who you are at that point in time. From your favorite things to do on a summer evening, your morning rituals, celebrity crushes, to places you want to visit…it’s fascinating to see how things pan out from year to year.
In fact, I have to admit that I love to rig the 10th list for each March challenge…because it’s my birthday and I’ll do what I want.
Now is your chance to start documenting your life in lists — quick notes each day for 30 days is really all that’s needed for this project. I like to refer to it as a challenge because, well, doing something for yourself for 30 days can be a challenge! Spoiler alert: You can do this challenge at your own pace, we never said it had to be 30 consecutive days.
Quick reminder: Pre-registration ends August 17, 2013. If you sign up for 30 days of lists before then, you’ll be automatically entered to win an Instax Mini Camera plus film! Also, registration is only $8 right now and will go up come August 17th, so act fast! Still not sure? Check out our newly re-designed website for more information.
