I’ve been looking forward to sharing my Project Life layout for our weekend trip to Portland, Oregon from earlier this year. You can read my blog post about our trip here.
Project Life – Week 8: April 29 – May 5, 2013
Looking at this layout has me thinking that Alex and I need to get back up there as soon as possible. I mean, all the vegetarian food options, comic book stores, walkable city, and Ground Kontrol? Sold.
I used a TON of the Seafoam Project Life kit this week, but I think the part I was most excited about was being able to fit in so many photos and pieces of memorabilia in the insert. I’m a HUGE fan of the slide page protector as an insert because I can cut it down to whatever size I need, and when I create a square 4×4 four-photo collage in the Diptic app, I can print out the photos and cut them apart to fit perfectly! If you’re looking to include more photos/things from a trip or event, I HIGHLY suggest ordering a set of slide page protectors as a non-bulky way to fit it all in. I use this set because it’s cheaper than a lot of the other options online.
“Stuff” included in this week’s layout:
- Packaging from an incorrectly ordered facewash
- Lightrail ticket stub and map
- Menu and punchcard from a pizza place
- Placemat from a flight of beer we shared
- Bookmark from Powell’s
- Airline luggage tag
- Flyer from the climbing gym we visited
- Instax photo
How do you include trips/vacations in your Project Life layouts?
