I was inspired to finish two projects that have been on the backburner for since moving Campfire Chic to a self-hosted WordPress site…so, quite a few months now.
I was really proud of the exhaustive list of all tutorials, DIY projects, and resources made available on my last site, but that page was lost in the transition to this new site. I thought of it as an opportunity to start new and possibly make things a little fancy…fancy is an excuse to not finish a project, so I sat down and re-created the page last week.
The second project I finished last week was something new to Campfire Chic – a resources page! What is a resource page? It’s a page that I created that has a ton of links to helpful sites, products, and services that help make Campfire Chic go. From a marketing resources, to an awesome designer, to where to get adventure-gear on the cheap.
This is project had me so excited when I finally finished that I decided to make it public before getting all of my links on the page – I figure I’ll be updating this page on a regular basis, why not get it going and then update it this week sometime?
I love sharing what I find with Campfire Chic readers – there is no reason for me to be unwilling to share what I learn! I included the sites I use to make our camping reservations, the flash sale sites that help us prepare for our trips on the cheap, ebooks focused on marketing, what I use for blogging, and more. Check out the resources page here.
It’s an awesome resource for Campfire Chic readers and I’m already planning on a few additional things to add to it. But most importantly, I want to know what you are interested in seeing on the resources page. Email me with your suggestions.
Like I mentioned earlier, the old Campfire Chic blog had a great page with a TON of links to all of the tutorials and recipes available on the site. I sat down and recreated the page here, and I’m looking forward to adding more projects to it in the coming months. Many of the posts featured on this page are guest blog posts, if you are interested in pitching a guest post that could be added to this list, please review these guest post guidelines.
I organized the page so you can easily find craft tutorials, home projects, photography & iphoneography projects, scrapbooking, and recipes. It’s a pretty big list, so here are some of my favorites for this time of the year:
- Vegan pumpkin cheesecake recipe
- A super-easy draft dodger to keep your heat inside this winter
- Make a fabric wreath for the holidays (black/orange/purple for Halloween, or red/orange/yellow for Thanksgiving!)
- Make a cute hexagon pincushion for the budding quilter in your life…or for yourself!
I’m really happy to share these two new pages with you and am looking forward to getting more helpful things up and available to you. Please let me know if you have any suggestions or requests!
