As if I needed another project to add to my Operation: Finish Projects list, here is my 30 Days of Lists PLUS December Daily™ binder for 2013.
I love love love the December Daily™ project by Ali Edwards. This will be my third time participating and I plan on sticking with my tried-and-true “Instax a Day” method of documenting my month. You can see my previous projects here.
Now, it’s no secret that I obviously work on my lists a little ahead of time considering the posts are published on the private blog at 1:00 a.m. Pacific time…when I’m (hopefully) asleep. With that, the lists I’m sharing on the private blog don’t have my Instax photos in them. It bums me out a bit, but I think I like that it separates the two projects! What’ I’m doing for the images on the private blog is including a backward Instax as a place holder. So far, so good!
For this project, I used:
- Simple Stories Snap album in Red (measures 6×8)
- Mostly Simple Stories Mix and Match 3×4 page protectors (because I didn’t like the style of the default set of page protectors)
- Instax camera with film will be used
- Glitter Thickers
- Journaling cards from Midnight and Seafoam Project Life kits
- And as much random stuff from my current scrapbooking stash. I’m on a mission to get rid of EVERYTHING and this project always helps out :)
The papers are super old and I’m not convinced the company is still around, but if you are participating in the 30 Days of Lists challenge, I linked to them the best I could. Using this album is very different than what I’ve done in the past, but I need a little bit of structure in my life right now. Also: Amy is using the same album. It wasn’t planned. You should’ve seen my face as I Skyped with Amy and she broke the news that I obviously wasn’t paying attention to her a few months ago when she declared she would be using the Snap album (in Red!) for her #30Lists project. Oops!
I will probably share several of my daily Instax photos on Instagram, so if you would like to see those, follow me @CampfireChic. And I’ll be sure to share all the pages in a future post. I really do love this project.
If you haven’t already, you can register for the 30 Days of Lists challenge for December – we usually only host it in March and September, but due to popular demand, we decided this year would be the year we bring a December edition to life!
