Just a quick note to mention that I updated the SHOP section of this site. It was a mess for over a year and didn’t fully capture what I have available.

You can click on the images below to learn more about each product. If you have questions, feel free to email me or leave a question in the comments section.

I’m also looking for feedback on the landing pages…I’m not a professional landing page creator so I’m interested to hear what you think should be added/improved/removed from the different pages. I appreciate your support over the years and hope you enjoyed any previous purchases. If you own any of the products below and would like to contribute a testimonial, please let me know.

I do not have any specific plans for new products, but I do plan on updating the Spark Ecourse before the new year.

Mountain Adventurers - Teton Sports Ambassador Program

Last week, Teton Sports announced their crew of Mountain Adventurers…and I am one of them!

I am officially a Teton Sports Ambassador and with their support, I’ll be getting outside more often and hopefully inspiring others to try new things. I’ve been posting about getting outdoors and trying new things on Campfire Chic for four years and I am glad to be a part of a team who will inspire me to continue exploring.

You can see who else is a Mountain Adventurer by clicking here.

If you head over to the Teton Sports website, you’ll see that each Mountain Adventurer has his or her own profile. Each profile contains a bio, some photos, and ways to connect with each person socially. These photos will be updated as we continue to share our adventures, which I think is pretty neat…I think there is something that will auto-magically update our profiles as we send photos out into the world. You can see my profile here.

I think this would be a great time to list a few of the archived posts that I think may interest other “chronic beginners” like myself:

If you’re interested in following along as the Mountain Advetnurers crew starts doing their thing, follow the hashtags #MountainAdventurers and #GetOutside on both Instagram and Twitter. As usual, you can follow me on Instagram, Twitter, and Google+ for my news and updates!

How do you inspire others to get outside?

What holds you back from trying new things?

Updated Products from Campfire Chic

Just a quick note today that the well-loved ebook, Three Sixty-Five: Ideas for blog posts, scrapbook pages, and art journal entries, has been updated! I first released the ebook in April 2012 and 370+ downloads later, the ebook now has 390 ideas and a fresh cover (designed by Kara). I spruced up some of the content and added a resources page at the end of the book to (hopefully) help answer a lot of the questions I received from current owners.

If you currently own this ebook, please check the inbox of the email account you used to purchase the product…I sent everybody an email (through e-junkie) on Sunday with a link to the updated ebook. There is no need for current owners to re-purchase the product. If you would like to find out more about this ebook, click here.

In addition to the ebook update, I wanted to announce an update to the write365 iOS app!  The app now has 400 ideas for brainstormers-on-the go. All the same functions are still available — simply tap the “get inspired” button and a new prompt will appear on the screen. You can also email yourself the prompt and start drafting your thoughts in the body of that email. Not a giant update, but I wanted to let you know that there are more ideas in the app now! There is not an Android version of this app at this time.

If you currently own this app, simply navigate to the App Store on your device and update the app. If you would like to find out more about the app, click here.

Ecourse for Blogging Burnout - Campfire Chic

I sent an email out to the Campfire Chic mailing list a few months ago about burnout and how I was super run down after over-extending myself last winter (30 Days of Lists, winter projects, the holidays, and moving in a very short period of time) and couldn’t bring myself to even look at my computer, let alone sit down for a few hours each week to write posts and engage on social media. I wanted nothing to do with responding to blog comments, I didn’t want to admit that I was letting my emails sit for a few days before responding, and I certainly didn’t care that my “to do” list of things I wanted to update/change on CampfireChic.com was growing out of control.

I was totally burned out.

Toward the end of January, I knew I needed to pull myself out of that crazy funk. I talked to friends and consulted articles written on what to do if you find yourself in a rut, but with the “get over it and put in extra work!” kind of advice I was getting, I was afraid that putting in the continue to burn me out — I needed to take a step back and address what was blocking my energy in order to rekindle my passion for blogging.

I spent the beginning of the year taking things at my own pace trying different things to get me back on track — and they worked. I created my own 30-day syllabus and kept a close eye on how I felt each day about the idea of getting onto my computer and working on things…some days were harder than others, but not rushing things really worked.

Blogging Ecourse by Kam of Campfire Chic

I want to help you get out of your blogging rut and spark something inside you that will get you moving in the direction you desire.

Spark is a 30-day email course designed to rekindle your passion for blogging — it’s the fuel you need to get back into your blogging groove! We’ll take it slow — I’ll send you one email a day containing one topic for consideration. The email will include how the topic/challenge is a part of the bigger picture, actionable items, and additional resources in case I spark your interest in that topic…you’ll get a new topic each day for 30 days!

What you get:

  • Daily email with a different lesson/action/activity for 30 days
  • Plenty of related resources for additional reading on each topic covered
  • Tools to help you create your own prescription for the future
  • Email access to me if you have questions or need clarification on a specific topic covered

Examples of topics covered:

  • Productivity
  • Effective list-making
  • Improving online connections with others
  • Self-love and self-care without guilt
  • Power of reflective journaling

While 30 days sounds like a really long time to focus on recovering from burnout, at the end of the course you’ll have a better understanding of how you can better address burnout and how to bounce back before you’re in too deep. This is a self-paced course and is available immediately after purchase.

Are you ready to get started? Click here to find your spark.

How it works:

  • Register for the course (Only $9.99!)
  • Subscribe to the mailing list (there are directions in your confirmation email)
  • You’ll receive a daily email from me with all the content for the day
  • You engage with the material — for example, if the email asks you to write a letter to yourself when you started blogging, you’ll be journaling that day. If the email asks you to marathon a favorite TV show on Netflix, you’ll do that! There is a reason for each of the actions, so you’ll just need to trust the process

Please let me know if you have questions about the course, I’d be happy to answer them in the comments (others may have the same question as you!).

About You: A Simple Guide to Writing About Yourself with Confidence

Do you find it difficult to write about yourself?

Are you unsure of what to include in your blog’s About Page or in your shop’s profile?

Do you struggle with describing what it is you do?

Let me help you write about yourself with confidence!

About YOU: A simple guide to writing about yourself with confidence is a 20+ page ebook focused on you and your story. It’s clear and concise, because you’re busy and want to make changes right away. The ebook progresses quickly and reinforces lessons in each chapter, because practice is awesome!

This was an awesome ebook to create and I have Campfire Chic readers to thank for inspiring me to put it together. I saw that there is a need for a guide about writing about pages and author bios for guest blog posts and decided to stop waiting around for somebody else to write the guide and wrote it myself.

Because sometimes waiting is part of the problem.

So here it is! A no-frills ebook that covers:

  • Brand narrative
  • About page
  • Author bio
  • Your social media profiles
  • Interviews
  • About for projects

…and much more. I share my super-easy formula for writing an author bio for guest blog posts, safety considerations, and why you shouldn’t feel icky about writing about yourself.
About You BUNDLE If you’re anything like me, you probably work best when there is a workbook that works with an ebook like this…I’ve got you covered!

The eworkbook includes:

  • guided journaling prompts
  • plenty of room for note-taking
  • worksheets that correspond with each chapter
